Cape Cod Tuna Fishing

April 14, 2010

If you would like to catch some Bluefin tuna, you will want to join us for a tuna fishing charter this Spring and Summer.  The Ginny G has private charters and we leave right out of Provincetown harbor.  We can fit up to 6 people on our boat and we include all of the fishing gear.  All you will need to bring is yourself, a change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, food and a cooler to hold your fish that you catch.

Cape Cod tuna fishing with the Ginny G is as good as it gets here at the tip of Cape Cod.  We have a hated cabin with bathroom and plenty of seating for everyone.  While Blue fin tuna fishing is great fun, we cannot guarantee a catch on every charter, the tuna fish is very elusive and can sometimes be a hard catch.  However, we try our best to catch a tuna on every trip and we are very proud of our history of tuna trips.

You can book your reservations right online or you can call us at 508-246-3656 .

Spring is finally here!

March 24, 2010

The first day of Spring has now come and gone and we are ready for some nice sunny weather.  Today is a bit dreary here on Cape Cod, but the weather forecast is calling for some sunny days soon.  The ponds on Cape Cod are getting stocked with trout and people are out and about fishing a lot more with the nicer weather.  Pretty soon we will be getting the Ginny G ready for some deep water fishing with our Cape Cod fishing charters.  View our calendar online for availability and for reservations.   Summer will be here soon, so be sure to make your vacation plans very soon.

The Sun is Out

March 10, 2010

For the past 4 days the sun ha been shining bright and the weather has been just great!  Perfect for some fishing off of the great beaches here on Cape Cod as well as hiking and biking on the great trails.  This weather id perfect for some deep sea fishing off of the Cape Cod coastline.  The ponds are also a great place to catch some smaller fish for the Spring.  If this sunny warm weather keeps up we should be getting the Ginny G ready for some fishing very very soon.

The past few days have brought out some local fisherman who have been tucked away waiting for some warmer weather to come their way.  More boats are going in and out of Provincetown harbor and Spring should be here any day now.

Warm and Dreary Weather

February 24, 2010

So, the last post I wrote i mentioned we were going to get 6-10 inches of snow, and of course, this  did not happen.  The new weather report is calling for rain for 6 days straight, so far we have had very little rain.  This just shows how the weather reports can be unreliable at times, especially for Cape Codders.  Luckily, the warm weather months are coming our way and we can enjoy the ocean and the sun at its best.

Ice fishing is how people are getting their fish around here lately and with the new forecast, the rain can make that very difficult.  It looks as though Cod is in full force on the outer banks of Cape Cod.  The cod boats are out and about.  Pretty soon we can get the Ginny G back out in the water for some good ol’ Cape Cod fishing charters.
